The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military-industrial holding will supply an autonomous ADJ16DKL diesel generator with a nominal power of 16 kW to provide backup power to a helicopter-type UAV control center in the Arctic, the holding's press service reported.
Field tests of the diesel generator confirmed guaranteed start-up and operation at an ambient temperature of -60 C°.
The holding's press service explained that ADJ16DKL combines power and a high level of automation. At the same time, unlike many analogues, the diesel generator can be operated in harsh climatic conditions.
