Telegram оштрафовали из-за каналов с призывами нарушения территориальной целостности России

The fine amounts to 4 million rubles

Telegram has been fined 4 million rubles for failing to remove channels calling for the separation of the Urals from Russia. The decision was made by the Tagansky Court of Moscow.

As part of the implementation of requirements to take measures to restrict access to information resources, Roskomnadzor sent a notification to the owner of the Telegram information resource - Telegram Messenger Inc. Within the period established by federal law - within 24 hours from the moment of receiving the notifications - the information distributed in violation of the law was not removed from the Telegram information resource.
Court act of the Tagansky Court of Moscow

Channels calling for violation of Russia's territorial integrity were identified by prosecutors. The data obtained was transferred to Roskomnadzor. The Tagansky Court of Moscow imposed a fine on Telegram Messenger Inc. on October 15 of this year under Part 2 of Art. 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (failure by the site owner to remove information if the obligation to remove such information is provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation).

It is worth noting that in August of this year, the messenger was fined the same amount for the same offense.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that a court in Moscow registered an administrative protocol against Telegram.
