From November 1, Ozon will prohibit paying upon receipt for most categories of goods, with the exception of clothing and accessories. As before, you will have to pay for the order at the checkout stage.
We decided to leave this option in those categories where it is most in demand by customers.
You can still pay upon receipt for clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry, as well as other goods that need to be tried on or visually assessed before purchase.
According to statistics, when purchasing products from the fashion segment, customers are twice as likely to choose payment after receiving the goods. The company noted that most customers who purchase products and products in other categories did not use the cash on delivery option at all.
Previously, the Ozon marketplace successfully integrated with the VKontakte social network. Now users will be able to make purchases without interrupting content: news feeds, clips and stories. In addition, Ozon launched sales in Georgia. This is the seventh market that the Russian marketplace has entered. You can also receive your order at pick-up points or by courier.
