The UK-25/25 tracklaying crane (produced at the "Kaluga Plant of Track Machines and Hydraulic Drives") has been included in the Book of Records for the rapid laying of the rail-sleeper grid on the Baikal-Amur Mainline.
The laying works took place from October 27 to 28 this year on the legendary railway line. In just one day, 8.1 km of the second track were laid from the Tynda station to the Pobojei crossing in the Amur Region.
The self-propelled tracklaying crane performs work on laying and dismantling railway tracks in sections of 25 m long and 25 tons in weight. The model has a number of advantages:
- Modified grippers provide remote control of the fixation of the working positions of the grippers.
- Two closed working posts (controlled via stationary consoles, located on both sides of the crane boom).
- Remote radio control panel allows you to control the cargo equipment and move the tracklaying crane.
- Video cameras and monitors allow you to monitor the main technological operations.
- Crane bogies with automatic disconnection drives for spring suspension provide remote control of spring unloading.
- The diagnostic system allows you to monitor the condition of the crane's working components.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the SMM group of companies created an analogue of the Liebherr ship crane – the "С4000" crane.
