The Russian Ministry of Defense has released new footage of the launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile "Yars" from the Plesetsk cosmodrome during a training exercise of strategic deterrence forces. The video shows the missile being brought into a vertical position and then launched.
The missile's caliber is 1.86 m, and its length is 17.8 m. The missile's launch weight is 46,000 kg, and the payload weight is 1,250 kg. The range of the weapon is up to 10,000 km, and the missile operates on solid fuel.
