The Russian army has already received the first samples of the latest self-propelled artillery systems "Coalition-SV". Serial production of the combat vehicle has already been launched.
Rostec noted that the self-propelled gun has advantages in firing range over Western artillery systems. As added in the state corporation, this long-awaited machine will bring the combat capabilities of Russian artillery to a new level.
The latest "Coalition-SV" is equipped with a 2A88 152 mm caliber gun with a rate of fire of more than 10 rounds per minute, as well as a modern system for automating the processes of target selection, gun aiming, and navigation.
The self-propelled gun is based on the T-90 tank platform and is designed to engage the entire range of ground targets: communication hubs, command posts, mortar and artillery batteries, armored vehicles, air defense and missile defense systems, as well as enemy manpower at a distance of up to 70 km.
The workstations of the commander and gunner of the "Coalition-SV" are equipped with digital displays and integrated into a unified automated tactical control system, allowing for round-the-clock observation of the terrain, fire adjustment, and autonomous calculation of settings for firing in any weather conditions, as well as receiving target designations via a digital communication channel.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian army reduced losses of Supercam reconnaissance drones to almost zero. UAV operators know in advance where the enemy's air defense and electronic warfare points are located.
