Sergey Chemezov: Supercam UAV Serial Production Launched in Five Months

Rostec plans to triple the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Russian army by the end of 2024. This was announced at the Federation Council meeting by the head of the state corporation, Sergey Chemezov.

According to him, the methods of warfare have changed significantly due to the mass use of drones.

Just 2-3 years ago, drones were considered a toy, but now they are a serious and dangerous weapon. In 2023, one of our holdings produced four times more of them than in 2022. By the end of 2024, supplies are expected to increase by another three times.

Chemezov added that the corporation has launched serial production of Supercam drones in five months, which have proven themselves well, and the military is eagerly awaiting them.

Earlier, The National Interest called the Russian T-72 tank the greatest in the world. Journalists stated Russia's ability to mass-produce modern modifications of the combat vehicle.
