Testing of a quadcopter created specifically for the Ministry of Emergency Situations units has been successfully completed in Russia. The device should become a universal platform for installing seismic sensors in the emergency zone.
The maximum take-off weight of the drone is up to 5 kg. The device is equipped with an electric winch. An electromagnet with a seismic sensor is attached to it.
With the help of the device, rescuers will be able to assess the degree of damage to buildings during the clearing of debris or during the evacuation of victims.
In Udmurtia, this system can be adapted to deliver medicines, equipment and supplies to areas where forest and peat fires occur
According to representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, such technical solutions will be in demand among rescuers in seismically hazardous regions, which include the North Caucasus, southern Siberia and the Far East.
The drone was developed by Vera Kondyurina. The girl studied at the Kalashnikov Academy in the "Aero" direction. The tests were carried out jointly with the "Quiet Wings" Group of Companies
