Specialists of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant have optimized the technical parameters of the engine designed for SGR family cars. According to the Telegram channel of the enterprise "UAZ today", the new engine uses the marking ZMZ-409-055, and it meets the requirements of the Euro-5 environmental standard.
The engine power of this model remained at the same level — 112.2 horsepower. However, it was possible to increase the torque from 198 to 213 Nm at 2700 rpm.
Increasing the torque should make the operation of the SUV more convenient.
The driver will switch gears less often, especially when the car is loaded.
As a reminder, according to the results of nine months of 2024, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant produced 28,515 cars. The largest volume came from SGR commercial vehicles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that UAZs began to be painted in new colors. Cars are already available in green, silver is expected in November.
