This became known during the Moscow conference "Aurora. Own Conference."
As Pavel Eiges, CEO of Open Mobile Platform, which developed the Aurora OS, noted during his presentation, 11 device models are currently running on this OS.
Replenishment should be expected within six months. There will be five different new models of devices: laptops, smartphones, tablets.
According to Eiges, new software products are created in the company by more than a hundred development partners. In addition, more than six hundred volunteer participants throughout Russia are involved in testing these products. More than 200 person-years were spent on the fifth generation of the OS alone.
In general, since 2016, since the release of the first version of the Aurora OS, almost 500 companies have entrusted their corporate mobility to the domestic system. For example, these are Russian Railways, PJSC Rostelecom, and divisions of the Rosatom State Corporation.
It is worth noting that the first day of the conference was held behind closed doors for the media. It was dedicated to the development of the ecosystem around the Aurora platform and interaction with the company's commercial and technological partners.
