Russian BMP-2M with the "Berezhok" combat module, refined based on combat experience, are being massively deployed on the front lines. Photos of such combat vehicles have appeared online.
Infantry fighting vehicles have received additional armor for the commander's and gunner-operator's sights.
The protection of the hull has been reinforced at the front, rear, and sides. Slat screens have also been used, and anti-drone "mangals" have been installed on some models.
These versions of the modernized "deuces" are also distinguished by high anti-tank capabilities and increased firepower, equipped with all-weather sighting systems.
In addition to the PKT 7.62mm coaxial machine gun and the 30-mm 2A42 automatic cannon, there is also a 30-mm AG-17 automatic grenade launcher mounted on the rear of the turret.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rostec had delivered a new batch of armored BMD-4M and BMP-3 with "Nakidka" protection kits to the troops. The additional protection includes products for reinforcing armor and slat screens.
