RT-Medical Technologies (part of Rostec Group) will begin construction of a medical equipment plant. The agreement was signed with the Government of the Kaluga Region within the framework of the "Bioprom" international forum. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
Rostec plans to quadruple the presence of our manufacturers in the medical device market. The construction of a modern plant in the Kaluga Region will create new jobs and become an important step in the development of high-tech medical equipment production in Russia.
The new plant will allow for the import substitution of foreign analogues and the creation of a wide range of domestic equipment for medical purposes. Currently, Rostec already produces 150 types of medical equipment.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec presented the first domestic immunoglobulin "BioGam".
