American fighters are a typical target for the anti-aircraft missile and gun system (SAM) "Pantsir-S", which shoots down stealth targets. The ability of the SAM system to hit aircraft was assessed by Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the weapons cluster of the Rostec State Corporation.
The "Pantsir-S" complex successfully shoots down complex targets with low radar signature. For example, Western stealthy cruise missiles Storm Shadow and high-precision shells of multiple launch rocket systems. Destroying such a typical target as the F-16 will not be difficult for the "Pantsir".
Ozdoev added that the state corporation continues to work on new versions of the SAM system.
