Around the Clock and Fast: Electronic Waybills Will Reduce the Burden on Drivers

The electronic consignment note system operates in several regions of Russia

The system of electronic waybills and remote medical examination of drivers reduces the burden on transport companies. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Monopolia" at the session of the forum "Digital Transportation-2024".

It is enough for the driver to open a new waybill, undergo a remote medical examination and technical control, and receive a digital signature from the mechanic. The data automatically enters the state information system of electronic transportation documents.

Then the electronic waybill comes to the driver in the form of a QR code in his personal account on the phone. When checking on the road, it is enough to show it to the traffic police inspector.

EWLs were issued thousands of times in 2024. The system operates around the clock in several regions of Russia.

Electronic waybills will help save time: the driver does not need to go to the office and technical control service to submit documents for the trip.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia solved the problem of driver shortage with the help of the "Otpuran" system. The program helps to optimize work processes and reduce human costs for the formation of a daily outfit.
