Производство дешёвых микросхем в корпусах из металлополимера запущено в России

The plant's capacity is up to 10 million pieces per year

The "Research Institute of Electronic Technology" of the "Element" Group of Companies has opened a microchip production plant in Voronezh. Electronic components will be produced in modern metallopolymer packages. This will reduce their cost.

The design capacity of the enterprise is 10 million microchips per year. By the end of 2025, 3.5 million units of products will be assembled.

About 70% of the produced microchips are planned to be supplied to Russian electronics manufacturers. They will be used in gas, water, electricity supply devices and various consumer electronics, as well as telecommunications equipment, the automotive industry and robotics.

Investments in production amounted to 790 million rubles. Most of the money was allocated by the Industrial Development Fund – 616 million rubles in the form of a concessional loan.

It should be reminded that NIIET is the largest vendor of electronic components in Russia. This is the only company in the country that produces GaN transistors on silicon.
