The head of AvtoVAZ was asked whether the cost of LADA Aura would be close to three million rubles, because earlier automotive experts suggested that the price of the car would start from 2.5 million rubles in the base version.

However, the press service of AvtoVAZ hastened to clarify that Sokolov meant the top version of the car with a premium audio system, leather, a rear sofa with massage and adjustments, and other options.
As for the basic model, designed including for use in taxi fleets, such a car is planned to be sold for 2.6—2.8 million rubles.
In the interview, Sokolov also stated that in terms of comfort, the premium car even surpasses the Toyota Camry. It's about the convenience of rear passengers.
The head of AvtoVAZ noted that before the start of production of the gasoline version, VAZ workers will be able to refine "a number of touches" and shortcomings.
