According to Topaz, the station was developed by the Foundation for Assistance to Security and Defense named after P. A. Sudoplatov. The new equipment also allows the use for military purposes of drones supplied to military personnel by volunteers.
Earlier www1.ru reported that an updated Uragan-1 MLRS on a BAZ-69092 Voshchina-1 chassis with an armored cabin was spotted on the front line. It protects the crew from heavy high-speed fragments.
