The United States has accused China of providing Russia with extensive military assistance, and in return, Moscow is transferring critical technologies to Beijing, including for the creation of the latest submarines and missiles. This is according to the Eurasian Times.

He added that the governments of Russia and China are hiding this kind of cooperation due to Western sanctions.
According to the Eurasian Times, Russia provides expertise in various military technologies, while China supplies it with the necessary components for creating weapons. Previously, Moscow was hesitant to share technologies with Beijing that are needed for developing submarines. However, now specialists from both countries may be working on creating the Chinese Project 096 submarine.
Project 096 is a next-generation nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine designed to enhance underwater nuclear deterrence capabilities. It is still under development.
The submarine may be 150 m long and have a speed of 29 knots. It is claimed that the Project 096 submarine can compete with the current submarines of the Russian Navy, for example, the "Borei" project. The newest Chinese submarine will receive characteristics that allow it to covertly carry out combat missions.
