Kazakhstan's ARC Group, contrary to Western sanctions, facilitated the maintenance of Russian Su-30SM fighters using avionics from French companies Thales and Safran. This is reported by Defence blog, citing an investigation by the InformNapalm community.
Su-30SMs use avionics supplied by French manufacturers, including multifunctional displays, navigation systems, and head-up displays.
As Defence blog writes, InformNapalm has documents that allegedly confirm how ARC Group circumvented restrictions by working with Russia on the repair and maintenance of French equipment. It is indicated that the Kazakh company hired specialists who were trained in the maintenance of Thales and Safran systems.
Without this equipment, Russian Su-30SM pilots would fly blindly.
The West is concerned about non-compliance with international sanctions against Russia. Third countries should not help circumvent these restrictions, InformNapalm believes.
