The production of hip, elbow, knee and other endoprostheses will be organized by the company "Rutil" in the city of Arsenyev (Primorsky Krai). This was reported in the press service of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV).
The complex will start operating in 2025 with the production of hip prostheses. Gradually, production is planned to be expanded.
The design capacity will be 50 thousand units per year. According to the agreement with KRDV, over 100 million rubles are invested in the project.
The first sample of the hip prosthesis has been successfully tested. They will be manufactured using modern technologies and high-quality materials.
Our goal until 2027 is to occupy 60% of the Russian market for public procurement by replacing imports. From 2027, we plan to meet 80% of the needs of public procurement, as well as master the production of prostheses of the knee and elbow joints, start work in the field of pediatric orthopedics, and enter the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union, Southeast Asia and India.
The main suppliers of raw materials for the creation of endoprostheses will be Russian suppliers.
