The company "Sollers" intends to replenish its line of models with hybrid pickups. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.
They just want to introduce hybrid technology for their pickups in the short term.
The politician believes that there will be demand for hybrid models in the country. He expressed the opinion that hybrids are much more promising than electric vehicles.
Support for demand for them in some form will definitely appear in the near future.
Such cars do not depend on the charging infrastructure and are perfectly operated in the cold, unlike electric vehicles.
It should be reminded that the pickups assembled at the "Sollers" plants are sold in Russia under the names Sollers ST6 and Sollers ST8. This is a copy of the Chinese models JAC T6/T8. The cars are made on the basis of the Toyota Hilux platform, with a frame and front suspension from the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
