Russian troops are actively using drones controlled and powered by fiber optics, which are not affected by electronic warfare (EW) systems, according to Pavel Kamnev, Commercial Director of "Laboratory of the Future" company.
According to him, communication determines the use of drones in a particular area of the front. This applies to onboard systems, ground systems, retransmission systems, and, in particular, the development of satellite communication systems.
We are seeing the active use of drones with fiber optics. This is nothing more than the reincarnation of KORD systems, developed back in the 70s of the last century, proving their effectiveness even today. The creation of such systems and their elements is also important at the moment.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia developed the all-weather drone "Prygun-1". The drone is designed for reconnaissance behind enemy lines and flights in arctic conditions.
