Russian soldiers on the front lines have once again demonstrated ingenuity and constructed a unique towed rocket launcher. They mounted the RBU-1200 "Uragan" naval rocket launcher on the carriage of a 23-mm ZU-23-2 "Rogatka" anti-aircraft autocannon.
The result is an MLRS that resembles the Soviet RPU-14 or the Chinese Type 63. Since the early 1950s, "Uragan" systems have been installed on boats and small ships of the USSR Navy to combat underwater enemy targets.
They use RGB-12 bombs as a means of destruction, with a solid-propellant rocket engine providing a range of 1200 m. The weight of the projectile is 73 kg, 32 kg of which is explosive.
Earlier, www1.ru reported on the advantages of the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system. The system creates a security dome with a radius of tens of kilometers over the protected object.
