The Kalashnikov arms concern has shown exclusive footage of the operation of the SKAT 350 M unmanned aerial vehicle. The equipment identifies and tracks a moving truck with shells, after which the equipment transmits target designation to the Grad MLRS crew from the state border cover group.
The serially produced SKAT 350 M is designed to search for objects in the optical and IR ranges, aerial surveillance, and precise guidance of Russian weapons to enemy targets.
SKAT 350 M is one of the leading aerial reconnaissance vehicles in the interests of the customer's units. It has proven itself well and is currently used along the entire line of combat contact.

Earlier, the former Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Air Force Issues of the CIS Joint Air Defense System, Lieutenant General of the Reserve Aytech Bizhev, expressed the opinion on the need to rethinking of the Russian air defense system.
