Changes to the composition of the car first aid kit, approved by the Ministry of Health, came into force on September 1.
The updated kit includes additional dressings, including elastic bandages, as well as two devices for performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation instead of one.
The innovations also include an isothermal blanket to protect the victim from temperature, a notepad and a pencil or marker. These stationery items are needed to record the time of application of a hemostatic tourniquet in emergency situations.
First aid kits that meet the old requirements can be used until 2027, provided that their expiration date does not expire earlier.
