The new small missile ship "Amur" of project 22800 code "Karakurt" was accepted into the Navy of the Russian Federation.
The ship will be protected from the air by the Pantsir-M anti-aircraft missile and artillery complex manufactured by the Tula KBP of the High-Precision Complexes holding.
The shipborne "Pantsir" is capable of effectively repelling group attacks by means of air attack, attacking from different directions. It provides high combat stability against massive strikes by high-precision weapons, including unmanned aerial vehicles and anti-ship missiles, as well as boats and small-sized boats.
Previously, one of the ships equipped with the naval "Pantsir", while on combat duty, successfully shot down a Storm Shadow missile.
