European car enthusiasts purchased four LADA Riva cars from January to June 2024. These are domestic "Zhiguli" fifth and seventh models, the production of which in Russia ceased in 2010 and 2014. This is reported by Automotive News.
On the European market, the Riva family included the VAZ-2104, VAZ-2105, and VA3-2107 models. The "Pyaterka" (Fifth) was considered the basic cheap model, while the "Semerka" (Seventh) was positioned as a more comfortable car.
However, in the sales statistics of used cars for the first half of 2024, the domestic "Zhiguli" cars were not the oldest specimens. The oldest vehicle was the Jaguar XJS. The last such model rolled off the assembly line in 1996.
