The popular car-sharing service Citydrive is replenishing its fleet again. Updated Soviet business-class cars will be on the line: GAZ-24 and GAZ-3102. It will be possible to ride them as early as September 2024.
As Yulia Varlamova, PR Director of the car-sharing service, told reporters, "these models have been completely redesigned inside, they have modern engines and an automatic transmission".
However, it is not yet known in what type of rental the Volgas will be. And they will not be given to everyone: the cars have rear-wheel drive and high power. Therefore, it is likely that only those who have experience driving such cars will be able to take them. In addition, the client will receive additional instructions for his safety.
We will look at the driver's experience, conduct a detailed briefing to make sure that he can drive this car.
Earlier it became known that in 9 years of operation, the car-sharing system in Moscow has reached world leadership in terms of development. Since 2015, the number of cars in the car-sharing fleet has increased 106 times, from 350 to 37 thousand units. At the moment, the Moscow car-sharing fleet is the largest in the world and includes electric cars, business-class cars and domestic production cars.
