Drones are designed for reconnaissance missions

The Russian holding company "High-Precision Systems" is modernizing infantry fighting vehicles (BMP-3) by introducing mini-drones into them. This will increase the tactical capabilities of the equipment, as well as ensure the safety of the crew, writes Army Recognition.

Mini-drones are specifically designed for reconnaissance missions. Equipped with cameras and sensors, they will provide the BMP-3 crew with real-time data on the battlefield situation.

The BMP-3 is a reliable and well-armed vehicle, considered the most modern infantry fighting vehicle in the Russian army. It will be interesting to see what additional capabilities these mini-drones can provide to the BMP-3 crew. This is certainly a development to watch closely.

According to Army Recognition, the BMP-3 is widely used in other countries. These include Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Nicaragua, Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan, UAE and Venezuela.

The BMP-3 is armed with two 30 mm and 100 mm guns, as well as three 7.62 mm machine guns, which provides significant versatility in combat operations. The vehicle's hull is made of welded aluminum alloy, which provides effective protection against small arms and shell fragments.
