Автомобили LADA вновь начали собирать в Узбекистане

Mass production of LADA cars in Uzbekistan was suspended in 2022

LADA car production has resumed in Uzbekistan. Production volumes are still small, reports Autostrada.uz.

Plans to resume LADA production in Uzbekistan were announced in the spring of 2023. These plans seem to be starting to materialize – according to the State Statistics Committee of the country, six cars were produced in Uzbekistan in July 2024.

In September 2021, AvtoVAZ began mass assembly of LADA cars in cooperation with the Uzbek company Roodell at the Jizzakh-ADM plant, located in the free economic zone. However, production was suspended in early 2022.

It is not reported exactly which LADA models are being produced in Uzbekistan. Previously, LADA Vesta cars were assembled from Russian vehicle kits at the Jizzakh-ADM plant.
