The All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) conducted a survey among Russians regarding the use of the domestic platform RuStore. The survey results showed that a third of citizens have never used the Russian service.
Among the respondents, only 10% use RuStore. At the same time, 40% prefer Google Play.
It is also worth noting that RuStore is slowly but surely gaining momentum. To date, the Russian app store is installed on more than 77 million devices.
The RuStore press service emphasized that users most often download financial applications and useful tools. The number of their updates exceeded 1.5 billion times.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that electronics retailers fear losses due to the need to pre-install RuStore.
