Самарские студенты за четыре месяца спроектировали, собрали и провели испытания БПЛА самолётного типа

The development allowed the "Magisters" team to reach the final

Students from Samara University (SamGU) designed, assembled, and tested a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in four months. Their development allowed the "Magisters" team to reach the final of the All-Russian student competition for the creation of unmanned aerial vehicles — SKAT (Student Competition of Aviation Creativity).

The team includes students from the Institute of Aerospace and Radio-Electronic Complex Technologies: Vladislav Morozov, Konstantin Almazova, Damian Guerra Guerra, Denis Olkov, Egor Skvortsov, and Konstantin Khorev. The project is supervised by Oleg Lukyanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Design and Engineering of Aircraft, who also heads the interactive complex for advanced training of engineers in the field of system engineering of unmanned aviation systems.

The UAV created by the team meets the technical requirements of the competition. The device is equipped with a pusher engine, has a high payload capacity and convenient placement of the payload. It weighs 2.9 kg, is capable of covering a distance of up to 7 km at a speed of up to 20 m/s, and carrying a load of up to 800 grams.

The final of the SKAT competition will be held in Dolgoprudny from August 19 to 26, where students will present their development.
