A robotic complex for diagnosing malignant skin lesions has been created at the Yaroslav the Wise Novgorod State University. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The device helps to detect skin neoplasms at an early stage.
This is a hardware and digital complex that collects information about the state of the body, takes target parameters: blood pressure, pulse, blood glucose level, and takes photographs of pigmented moles using a USB microscope. Based on these images, the complex automatically determines the risks of developing oncology and creates a photo database for monitoring pigmented moles in each patient.
The diagnostic method is completely painless for the patient. The device allows you to enlarge images of moles by 300 times. The complex assesses the photo for the danger of developing melanoma, then the data is transmitted to the doctor.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new technology for combating oncological diseases was created in Yekaterinburg.
