Russian military personnel on the front lines will receive new heavy hexacopters "Night Witch". They are an improved analogue of the "Baba Yaga" drones.
The product was developed by the company "Groza". The drones have the function of dropping up to four munitions.
"Night Witch" is an unmanned aerial vehicle of the multirotor type, a hexacopter. This is a strike drone for dropping combat charges from a height at night, as well as for transporting goods and provisions over long distances.
The weight of the drone is about 20 kg, it is capable of transmitting video at a distance of up to 50 km and working in conjunction with the vertical take-off reconnaissance drone "Owl-22".
The "Night Witch" develops a speed of up to 60 km/h, it is capable of carrying up to 20 kg, has a camera with a thermal imager and jam-resistant navigation.
Earlier www1.ru reported that at "Army-2024" presented the latest UAV of the "flying wing" type. The speed of the aircraft is up to 120 km/h, the communication range is 60 km, and the flight duration is up to 4.5 hours.
