At the military-technical forum "Army-2024" in Kubinka near Moscow, an unusual powerful drone capable of carrying a high-explosive aerial bomb (FAB) weighing 250 kg was shown. The manufacturer of the novelty is a private company "SovElMash". Drone connoisseurs on the Internet have already dubbed the "bird" "Koschei the Immortal" for its impressive size, which greatly exceeds the dimensions of another massive drone of Ukrainian design - "Baba Yaga".
In fact, the giant drone already has a name, but the manufacturer decided to be more modest. SovElMash equipped its "Motylek" with four electric motors capable of lifting up to 230 kg of payload. With this weight, it can rise to a height of up to 100 meters.
The maximum engine power is 60 kW, the weight is 23 kg. The engine for the "Motylek" propellers is based on the world's first asynchronous motor-wheel of the 318th dimension, made on the basis of the patented technology of combined "Slavyanka" windings. The maximum torque is 150 N·m, and the nominal rotation frequency is 2800 rpm.
The engines have an increased service life, reliability and lower cost than analogues with classic windings. Energy savings when using engines with "Slavyanka" is up to 40%.
In the future, the company plans to completely replace all the necessary parts with domestic ones - "with the exception of control controllers and rechargeable batteries", it is already domestic and produced in Moscow. In the future, when manufacturing "Motylkov", "SovElMash" will use "exclusively Russian components."
Earlier www1.ru reported that at "Army-2024" presented the newest UAV of the "flying wing" type. The speed of the aircraft is up to 120 km/h, the communication range is 60 km, and the flight duration is up to 4.5 hours.
