NtechLab is launching a pilot project to search for lost pets, the company's press service reported.
Rostec's technology partner, NtechLab, will launch an AI-based solution in test mode to search for pets using photographs. The pilot project will take place in the Moscow region.
The agreement to implement the initiative was signed with the Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Moscow Region.
To search for an animal, the owner must fill out a form, send a photo of their pet, and submit an application. When the AI finds a similar animal, the owner will receive a notification by email or messenger.
At the same time, we are receiving requests from the northern regions of Russia, which are asking to expand the capabilities of the technology to recognize and immediately notify about the penetration of wild animals into the city: for example, brown bears. This is the next stage in the development of this algorithm.
The system includes not only searching for pets by applications. The database will store photos of found animals whose owners have not yet been identified.
Earlier www1.ru reported that NtechLab will develop an artificial intelligence-based service.
