Specialists from the Kalashnikov Group have begun work on adapting Vikhr-1 guided air-to-surface missiles for use with unmanned aerial vehicles, together with the enterprises that produce them, according to the head of the group, Alan Lushnikov.
He recalled that the Vikhr-1 missile is universal and can be launched without any changes to its design from any carrier.
The work on integrating the missile is being carried out by the manufacturers of the carriers together with our specialists. Cooperation in this area with a number of Russian manufacturers continues.
The Vikhr missile is designed to engage ground maneuvering armored vehicles equipped with dynamic protection blocks, as well as medium-speed air targets, including drones and helicopters.
