Vitaly Rakhmanov, Head of the Digital Development Department of the Pskov Region Government, spoke about plans to introduce artificial intelligence into the work of the government and executive authorities of the region.
Rakhmanov noted that several projects are being considered, including processing citizens' appeals and working with documents. One of the key projects, called "gosjipti" (GosGPT), aims to simplify communication between officials and citizens, as well as automate the preparation of regulatory legal documents.
The official explained that AI will be used to translate complex bureaucratic texts into a more understandable language and to check documents for compliance with legal requirements and the presence of errors.
Rakhmanov emphasized that AI will not replace human labor. Machines, although they help in processing and automating processes, cannot completely replace human control and the emotional component, which is important in the work of officials. Thus, AI will serve as a tool to improve work efficiency, and not a replacement for humans.
