Sales of LADA Niva Sport, a sports version of the classic "Niva" with a 122-horsepower engine from Granta Sport, should begin in Russia before the end of the year. Prices for the car are declared not democratic — from 2 million rubles. It is possible that many Russians will buy such a car on credit. Then they will have to insure it not only under OSAGO, but also under a KASKO policy. Journalists have calculated how much insurance will cost.
If a 40-year-old man with 20 years of accident-free driving experience insures a car, the OSAGO policy will cost 7,286 rubles. KASKO for a resident of the capital aged 35 with 10 years of driving experience with a CBM of up to 0.91 will cost about 39 thousand rubles. The insurance was calculated by the "Soglasie" company.
Note that "Niva" remains a popular car in the Russian regions. Most often in 2023, it was bought in the Republic of Dagestan, where white tinted "Nivas" are held in high esteem, in the Kostroma region, in the Udmurt Republic, the Krasnodar Territory and the Smolensk region.
