Сам не летает и другим не даёт: эффективности ЗРК С-400 «Триумф» позавидовали за рубежом

ANI agency: the S-400 system shot down 80% of "enemy" fighters

The Indian Air Force conducted exercises using the Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile system. The air defense systems demonstrated high efficiency in destroying mock enemy fighters, reports ANI agency.

According to the source, the S-400 SAM system "shot down" 80% of "enemy" fighters during the exercises, forcing the remaining aircraft to retreat and interrupt their missions, which consisted of attacking targets in India.

The S-400 Triumph is a Russian long- and medium-range anti-aircraft missile system. It is designed to engage air attack and reconnaissance assets, including any other air targets in conditions of intense fire and electronic countermeasures.

The SAM system is capable of engaging aircraft and cruise missiles at a range of 3 to 400 km, ballistic targets flying at speeds up to 4.8 km/s - at a range of up to 60 km and at an altitude of up to 30 km.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Armed Forces deployed a robot on the front line. It is used to deliver food and ammunition.
