Ряд российских крупных госкорпораций вышлют из Москвы

We are talking about organizations that have a head office in the Russian capital, and the production facilities themselves, for example, in Siberia

The decision of President Vladimir Putin to reduce the number of state corporations and companies with state participation in the Russian capital became known after the publication on the Kremlin website of a list of instructions following the results of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2024.

According to the document, by October 1, 2024, the government must submit proposals for the "phased relocation of state corporations, companies with state participation and parent organizations of integrated structures included in the structures of such corporations and companies from the city of Moscow to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation at the location of their main production and (or) operational activities".

It is prescribed to pay "special attention" to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation located in the Ural, Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts.

Speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2024, Vladimir Putin stated the need to strengthen the economic capabilities of the Russian regions, including by transferring the head structures of the largest entities and state-owned companies to them, noting that "the idea, of course, requires study, but deserves attention and support." As a positive example in this direction, the president spoke about the relocation of the head office of PJSC "RusHydro" from Moscow to Krasnoyarsk.
