Russian Ka-52 military helicopters at the forefront are actively using Vikhr supersonic guided air-to-surface missiles. The ammunition is effective at any time of the day and in difficult weather conditions.
They are used not only to destroy enemy armored vehicles, including those in shelters or in motion, but also to destroy firing points, camouflaged and protected objects.
Rostec noted that during combat use, the Vikhr demonstrates phenomenal accuracy.
In fact, one shot is one target hit. At the same time, the potential for modernizing the product has not been exhausted. Work is underway to increase the range and improve the warhead of the missile. Kalashnikov plans to adapt the Vikhr for unmanned aerial vehicles.
