An official representative of AvtoVAZ, Sergey Ilyinsky, shared the auto giant's plans for the third and fourth quarters of this year. The plant intends to present a fully functional version of the LADA Vesta; the model will finally be equipped with a stabilization system. In addition, the production of the LADA Aura will begin in September, and in the fourth quarter, Nivas with airbags will be produced, and by the end of the year, the LADA Niva Sport will appear.
The fully functional LADA Vesta, in addition to the Russian-made stabilization system, will be equipped with a rear-view camera with dynamic lane markings. In addition, the car will have blind spot sensors, front parking sensors, and heated seats. Sales of this car will begin in September 2024.
The assembly of the car for officials – LADA Aura – will also start in the same month. The production plan is still modest – only a few thousand cars.
In the fourth quarter, Nivas with airbags will start rolling off the assembly line of the auto giant. The Niva Legend will have one, and the Niva Travel will have two. At the end of the year, another Niva will appear, namely the sports version. LADA Granta is also planned for production in the top configuration, with climate and cruise control.
