Production of LADA cars increased by 73% in the first half of the year. AvtoVAZ produced 235,815 cars during this time. This was announced by the official representative of the plant, Sergey Ilyinsky.
At the end of the first half of the year, Vesta production increased by 3.5 times, Granta by 37%, Niva – by 49%
According to him, in six months of 2024, the volume of car production exceeded the volumes of the entire 2022. This is also the maximum since 2020. The plant representative noted that in June last year 15,702 cars were produced, and in June this year — 45,238 cars.
Note that LADA Aura will start rolling off the assembly line in Togliatti in the fall. With the start of production of this car, the speed of car production will increase. Currently, a car rolls off all three assembly lines in Togliatti every 25 seconds, and after the start of Aura production, this time will be reduced to 22 seconds.
