Российским военнослужащим могут разрешить использовать охотничьи ружья против FPV-дронов

Депутат Миронов обратился с соответствующим запросом к главе Минобороны РФ Белоусову

State Duma Deputy Sergei Mironov sent a letter to the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Andrei Belousov, requesting that he work on a solution to the problem of military personnel using hunting weapons to combat enemy drones.

Mironov referred to appeals from military personnel.

According to their experience, today one of the most effective means of destroying enemy UAVs, including FPV drones, is a hunting rifle loaded with buckshot or shot.
Sergei Mironov, State Duma Deputy

He explained that, according to the law "On Weapons", the owners are responsible for the storage and transportation of a hunting rifle if they have the appropriate license. Given this, unit commanders are looking among the military personnel for hunters to bring rifles with them.

In addition, the military police of garrisons and representatives of the commandant's office require that the hunting rifle be assigned to a specific soldier. According to Mironov, it is necessary to eradicate legal uncertainty and make it easier for military personnel to use such weapons.
