The "Rezkiy" and "Gromkiy" corvettes of the Russian Pacific Fleet have departed from Vladivostok port to perform tasks in the Asia-Pacific Region (APR), the fleet's press service reported.
Upon leaving the main base of the fleet, the ship crews practiced emergency preparation for battle and sailing, and conducted a training exercise to repel an attack by drones of a simulated enemy.
According to the press service, one of the corvettes took on board a Ka-27PS helicopter (search and rescue modification) of the naval aviation of the Russian Pacific Fleet. It is expected that in the Asia-Pacific region, the ships will participate in maneuvers to search for and eliminate submarines of a simulated enemy, and will also practice defense actions during attacks from the air.
