Даже комар не пролетит: в России запустили систему для обнаружения и ликвидации микродронов

A SCVS has been launched in the Moscow region to detect and eliminate micro-drones

An airspace control system (SCVS) has been launched in the Moscow region, which is capable of detecting not only helicopters and airplanes in the air, but also mini- and micro-drones at extremely low altitudes and directing electronic warfare (EW) systems and air defense (AD) systems to them for elimination.

The novelty was developed by the "Central Design Bureau of Instrument Engineering" (part of the "High-Precision Complexes" holding of the Rostec State Corporation). The SCVS is a network of radar stations with an antenna array. They can be installed on the roofs of high-rise buildings, vehicles, cell towers, and balconies of residential buildings. There can be up to 24 units in one system. The first such systems are already operating in the Moscow region.

Making sure that the radar sees a bomber or fighter is available to any manufacturer in the world. We, on the other hand, can detect copter-type drones the size of a sheet of paper. We guarantee to detect a copter that carries a maximum of a video camera, such as the Mavic 2, at ranges of up to four kilometers.

The SCVS is capable of tracking up to 20 aircraft simultaneously, and it transmits data about their type, flight altitude, and distance to them. It is also possible to connect the system to air defense or electronic warfare systems, then it will be able to give them target designation for the destruction of drones.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that Russian military personnel on the front lines will receive the latest smart FPV drones that are invulnerable to electronic warfare.
