Найдёт врага на суше, в море, за радиогоризонтом: что известно про российский комплекс ЧВА-001-04РП-Э

The long-range radio monitoring complex is installed on any carrier

The export version of the updated automated long-range radio monitoring complex ChVA-001-04RP-E from the Ruselectronics holding (part of the Rostec State Corporation) "significantly surpasses" foreign analogues. This is stated by representatives of the holding, presenting their development at the International Naval Salon "Fleet-2024".

As noted, the ChVA-001-04RP-E from the Vector Research Institute, which is part of Ruselectronics, outperforms competitors "including in terms of frequency range, weight and size characteristics, and cost".

The development allows detecting and analyzing signals from radar stations of coastal, sea and air basing with a complex frequency-time structure in a complex electronic environment in a wide frequency range, direction finding of radio emission sources and plotting their location on an electronic map.

At the same time, the complex equipment can be dismantled and installed on a new object in just six hours.

Other detailed characteristics of the complex are not disclosed. However, it is known that Ruselectronics first showed the updated ChVA-001-04RP-E in the export version in Kronstadt in 2023.

At that time, it was said about the characteristics of the ChVA-001-04RP-E that it has a low maximum power consumption of no more than 1000 W. The complex, according to the parent state corporation Rostec, in that version was capable of:

  • be placed both stationary and on mobile carriers – ships, wheeled and tracked vehicles;
  • operate in frequencies from 300 MHz to 18 GHz with a simultaneous viewing bandwidth of 500 MHz;
  • monitor in a 360-degree sector thanks to a mobile antenna;
  • find and analyze signals with a complex frequency-time structure, direction find enemy sources of radio emission and plot them on an electronic map. At the same time, the ChVA-001-04RP-E detects sources of radio emission beyond the radio horizon and even when enemy electronic warfare equipment is operating;

Whether the ChVA-001-04RP-E has been modified in any way over the past year, and if so, how, is unknown.

In addition to ChVA-001-04RP-E, Ruselectronics also presents other developments for military and civilian purposes. In particular, this is a Russian photo and video shooting complex capable of serving at a depth of up to 6000 meters during scientific, rescue and technical work.
