The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military-industrial holding will provide Russian military personnel with electricity for field catering points and canteens. The holding's management has concluded another contract for the manufacture and supply of AD8.1 diesel generators with a nominal power of 8.1 kW, the KMZ press service reported.
Diesels are needed to ensure:
- operation of field mobile catering points
- operation of mobile canteens
The diesel generators created by KMZ engineers start automatically when the main electricity supply fails. This guarantees the uninterrupted operation of field kitchens and canteens for servicing the military.
According to project manager Igor Smirnov, the developers have created powerful diesel generators with minimal dimensions.
This is a determining factor when operating special complexes in the field.
