"Kurganmashzavod" (part of the "High-Precision Complexes" holding) has delivered a new batch of BMP-3s to the Russian Armed Forces. The combat vehicles have received standard additional protection kits.
The equipment is fitted with anti-cumulative screens, armored screens, as well as "cloaks" – kits to reduce visibility in the radar and thermal spectrum. They are made of synthetic fire-resistant material and make it difficult to detect equipment using observation devices, such as thermal imagers.
In addition, the "threes" are equipped with protection kits for the upper hemisphere, which has increased the combat "survivability" of the vehicle.
Rostec produces a wide range of modern armored vehicles. These include main battle tanks, self-propelled artillery guns, and infantry fighting vehicles. Today, Kurganmashzavod handed over another batch of BMP-3s with standard additional protection kits to the Ministry of Defense. Fulfilling the state defense order is our priority.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the United Aircraft Corporation, as part of the implementation of the state defense order, transferred another batch of Su-34 bombers to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. After undergoing a series of factory tests, the aircraft equipment was sent to the troops.
